  • Developed the organizational Diversity and Inclusion policy that was adopted by CSVR, and provided internal training for staff.
  • Co-developed and institutionalized an organizational Sexual Harassment and Gender Policy aligned with labor standards and feminist values.
  • Monitored and Evaluated Gender Mainstreaming gaps in programmes through a gender audit, and provided programme-specific recommendations.
  • Designed the Gender Mainstreaming strategy for the Gender Programme and supported monitoring and implementation thereof.
  • Designed a gender sensitive reporting mechanism for our Mental Health and Psychosocial Service Support (MHPSS) and Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) programme, to produce gender disaggregated data.
  • Chairperson and team leader for the Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) CSVR Committee – leading a team of 8 staff members, thus led the development, implementation and monitoring of D&I organisational strategies.
  • Co-facilitated and lead coordinator for community and intergenerational dialogues in three major communities in Cape Town; focusing on access to social services, GBV prevention tools, Masculinities and MHPSS.
  • Managed stakeholder engagements and collaborative partners for Cape Town based GBV community projects, while provided technical and administrative support.
  • Co-developed the project plan that looked into understanding notions of community violence that impact women, and assisted with project delivery as the key contact person for the Cape Town component of the project.
  • Facilitated and supported programme development for a GBV prevention pilot project focused on capacitating and upskilling over 50 men and boys in the Delft community in partnership with Safety Promotion and Partnerships Department of Police Oversight and Community Safety – Western Cape Government.
  • Contributed to the 7th administration of Parliament; submitted a presentation to the Parliamentary Portfolio Committee on Women, Youth and Persons with Disabilities on "GBV Prevention and Community Relations".
  • Developed Communication strategies and supported implementation for regional events including 3rd Annual GBV Symposium, while providing support for the design and development for social media posts.
  • Led the development of gender related social media calendar post. Including the design and development of the CSVR Podcast, and Gender Blog.

  • Supported the coordination of the 1st and 2nd annual Southern Africa Gender-Based Violence Prevention Symposium, a hybrid event which convened over 150 high-level stakeholders from across the Southern Africa region. Including CBOs, NPOs, policymakers, researchers, activists, and organizational leaders.
  • Facilitated and supported coordination fro a gender sensitisation Police Training for the Southern African Regional Police Chiefs Cooperation Organization (SARPCCO), over 60 police officers were trained.
  • Coordinated and facilitated a webinar titled 'Enhancing Advocacy, Communication and Awareness-Raising Mechanisms to Strengthen 16 Days of Activism'.
  • Led the development and design of the first podcast at CSVR, titled Unbound Voices; looking into the nexus of violence and gender.
  • Co-facilitated and supported the coordination of a community dialogue in Delft, Cape Town in collaboration with the Department of Social Development - with over 80 community members - to raise awareness on GBV services, laws and developed community centered GBV prevention strategies.
  • Provided administrative and technical assistance to project lead for a 2-year R7.5 million (ZAR) Rapid Response Gender Based Violence Project, which capacitated over 37 communities in 8 provinces and trained over 40 community-based organizations, and government personnel on Gender Based Violence and community response - transforming over 600 women.
  • Assisted project manager with proposal submissions, grant management, contracts, financial reconciliations, travel administration, stakeholder management and documentation for subgrantees.
  • Published an Op-Ed on AfricLaw that looked at the nexus between masculinity, mental health, and the detriment of gender norms for men.
  • Co-authored an article on food insecurity in South Africa, published by Gendered Dimensions of Hunger in Peacebuilding (GDHP).
  • Assisted in the data collection of a research report looking at empowerment gaps for women in rural areas published by CSVR.
