I am a grade 1 medical officer who completed community service at Oudtshoorn Hospital in June 2024. Together with my internship at Livingstone Hospital complex, Gqeberha, I have gained a wide skill set for managing a diverse range of patients in resource-limited settings. Working at a district hospital has strengthened my ability to treat both medical emergencies and provide holistic primary health care. My fields of interest include Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine and Dermatology.

SUNSTRIPE HIV Training course

• Demonstrated proficiency in identifying and managing adverse drug reactions such as Enalapril- induced angioedema, and reporting these incidents, ensuring patient safety.
• Adhered to clinical protocols and guidelines, tailored to the Kannaland region, to ensure high quality care.

• Prioritized patient centered care, by involving patients in the decision making process, while using an evidence based approach.
