  • My duties include: assisting in managing and monitoring economic parameters and socio-economic imperatives within the province
  • Assisting in providing strategic leadership in the planning and implementation of a credible budget
  • Assisting in ensuring provision of technical assistance and guidance in the application of economic analysis in the province
  • Assisting in the development of data analytics capabilities within the economic analysis unit and the budget unit
  • I am also responsible for overseeing the tabling of the credible main budget within legislated timeframes and its alignment to departmental plans in consideration with policy priorities
  • Assisting in conducting qualitative and quantitative assessments of the In-Year Monitoring (IYM) and Quarterly Performance Reports (QPR) and providing feedback to stakeholders
  • Assisting in Coordinating the adjusted budget within legislated timeframes and acceptable quality levels
  • I have successfully compiled: Q3 2023/24 Eastern Cape Labour Force Survey
  • Q4 2023/24 Eastern Cape Gross Domestic Product report
  • Assisted on the MTEC presentations for the 2023/24 financial year

  • I was assisting in monitoring the major projects in Eastern Cape, namely, The Road projects done by SANRAL, the development of the harbours (East London Harbour and Port of Ngqura) in Eastern Cape
