I hold a Bachelor of Accounting Honours degree from the University of Johannesburg (2020). I successfully completed the SAICA Initial Test of Competence (ITC) in 2021 and the APT Professional Competence Development Programme in 2022. I am a focused, analytical, and positive finance professional with a strong foundation in accounting and external audit, gained through two years as an audit clerk.
While audit provided valuable technical exposure, I discovered my passion lay in working directly with SMEs — the engine room of entrepreneurship and economic growth. This realisation led me to join Creative CFO, a firm specialising in accounting and financial advisory services for SMEs, where I currently serve as a CIMA Associate.
I am nearing completion of my CIMA qualification and am currently awaiting the results of my final Strategic Case Study Exam, after which I will be eligible to register as a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).
Outside of work, I enjoy participating in sports, particularly running and swimming. I am also an avid reader with a strong interest in academic research. During my postgraduate studies, I was selected for a research programme that developed my investigative and academic writing skills in accounting-related fields. This experience culminated in my first research paper, which explored the effectiveness of tax relief measures during the COVID-19 pandemic.
