- On the 25th of September 2024, I did a community engagement project with my team members for school in a non-profit organization called the Durban Child and Youth Care Centre as their PR Intern. We partook on an event called the Ladies High Tea to get income for the renovation of one of their children's houses, the teenage boy's house SAWAs House. The event was a success, we were able to raise a fund of R27050,00.
- On the 7th to the 8th of May 2025, I had a two-day workshop for Design Thinking at Botanic Gardens, I worked with my teammates where we had to plan and come up with a business idea. Our business idea was to have a coffee shop near our campus, where we would sell warm beverages and quick snacks to the lecturers and student. The name of our coffee shop was the Corner Coffee Shop. During the duration of the bootcamp, we would use the Problem Statement and Lean Canvas worksheet to distinguish our target audience, goal, mission, objectives etc. At the end of the bootcamp, we received our Certificate of Excellence.
