• Assist in the day-to-day operations of the tasting room, ensuring smooth functioning and exceptional customer service.
• Oversee and support tasting room staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Coordinate with the Tasting Room Manager to develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
• Conduct wine tastings and educate customers on wine varietals, production techniques, and food pairings.
• Assist in managing inventory, including ordering, stocking, and rotating wines and merchandise.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the tasting room, including tasting areas, retail displays, and storage areas.
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Assist in planning and executing special events, including private tastings, wine dinners, and release parties.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to promote tasting room events and drive traffic to the winery.
• Adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines related to alcohol service, safety, and sanitation.
