Accomplishments

The MTN ICT operations team I was working with consisting of 4 Specialists was left with no management and no direction. Stepping up to the challenge started involving the team in a multitude of projects to start building visibility. This included consulting, design, build and deployment of complex solution touching on network, security, HA and growth needs. The team very quickly found a place working with a multitude of departments. The team’s visibility got to the point that we were invited to take over 2 African branches and supported the ICT services for each. Growing people grows the business. I am fond of out of the box thinking and solutions looking at the road least travelled may be difficult at first, but you are then introduced to a mindset that there is nothing that can’t be achieved.
