Hi, I’m

Andre Dippenaar

Product Manager - Capital (YOCO)
Somerset West
Andre Dippenaar

Summary

I have close to 7 years Project Management experience, with many of those spent in the Fintech and mobile development space.

As a former Key Account Manager, I successfully brought to market innovative payment platform projects such as Discovery StopWash and Humba (parking payment solution based on license plate recognition software). Because of strong interpersonal, presentation, and management skills, I pursued a career in Project Management, where I honed my skills in delivering coupon and voucher solutions, as well as mobile applications.

I developed a strong interest in mobile application development, and spent 2 years working (as a developer) on some of South Africa's most popular hospitality and loyalty apps, including Burger King SA, Vida e Cafe, Kauai, and Dunkin Donuts, using a variety of programming languages and platforms such as Java, Kotlin, Flutter, and Swift (UIKit & SwiftUI).

Previous experience as a Developer means that i know what it takes to deliver production applications across multiple platforms, and to manage project dependencies. I've also worked with Figma to create wireframes, user flows, and designs.

As a Project & Product Manager, I've helped clients like the South African Reserve Bank, Karri, Kalibra, and Yoco define and deliver exceptional products. Subject matter expertise, excellent communication skills, market knowledge, leadership ability, innovative thinking, strong research skills, and strategic thinking are all skills I'm proud of.
