Andile Lennox Wana

I have been placed by the Nyanga Arts Development Centre Organization, from a school called Vuyiseka High school back in 2023. I have served as an Artist in school.

This year Nyanga Art Centre has placed me to Nompumelelo Primary School, and i'm serving as an Artist in school as well. I have a group of highly performing students in Art in the school, and yet currently working with them towards building our banner design ,strictly for our showcase of Human rights theme that will take place earlier this year in Nyanga Art Centre.

I work as an Art Facilitator at Beautifulgate, teaching high school students that come from different high schools, about the work of Art and Design every Wednesdays afternoons.

My Art students normally get to showcase their work of Art items as well as in a form of an Art exhibition, strictly for the public holidays that we normally celebrate each and every year, such as June 16, and Heritage day. My students get to produce Artworks that are relevant to the themes related to these public holidays.

I have served in the school as a Teacher assistant under Creative Art department. I was an assistant in teaching Visual Arts in all grade 8 classes. I also used to run afternoon classes of Visual Art with the group of learners that were highly performing in work of Art in the school as well. I have also been an asset in the school in terms of designing particulary for beautifying some of the school classes.

I served the school as a Teacher Assistant. I was very supportive on looking after the students in their classes and assisting them in their classwork's, activities as well as assisting in Invigilating for examination periods. I also served in the school as being supportive when it comes to paper work, printing examination papers and as well in stapling the examination papers. This was my first job experience where i got to developed an interest on persuading the field of education.
