I know I do not have experience as a social worker but I do have experience in testifying in court, writing reports, conducting awareness campaigns and working closely with the community. I have the ability to work well in a team and I am able to work with the resources provided. The South African Police Service has given me many opportunities to grow personally and professionally. The experiences at Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual offences has taught me how to work under pressure, conduct professional awareness campaigns and work with prosecutors in regards to juvenile offenders and adult offenders. I have built up numerous contact persons and resources to work with in the field of social work.
The work environment at FCS has taught me how to present myself as a professional employee and how to approach vulnerable community members and children. I have gained exceptional admin skills and meeting strick deadlines. I have gained interpersonal skills and how to be resilient.
I am humbly requesting you to take my application to heart as I wish to use the knowledge and experience I have gained in the professional field of Social Work. I have no doubts that my skills and knowledge will be a good addition to your organization if provided the opportunity to prove myself.
