I am a passionate media and communications specialist with 20 years’ industry experience. As a high-performing content marketer I have extensive experience in research, content creation and strategy. I am a creative, imaginative and team-oriented individual with an eye for detail. I specialise in the strategic development of high quality content that educates, entertains, persuades and converts across audiences and personas. I am resourceful and work across formats - from podcasts to webinars, features to data-driven narratives and thought leadership pieces and media-facing content, creating LinkedIn content for business executives and more. My work builds brand love and ultimately adds to lead generation. Strengths include my ability to research and generate creative, compelling and descriptive content and optimise it to increase traffic and revenue.
My academic background is in Science and Business Studies. I am a brand builder and strive for clear and concise communication that follows plain language principles, ensuring excellent content that engages and resonates with intended audiences. I strive to maximise SEO potential and to optimise content for maximum digital visibility. I have 15 years' experience in journalism (investigative) and five years' in Content Marketing (with a focus on the health sector), also managing a team of writers in this context. I am ready to play my part in achieving a company's core purpose. I am organised and dependable and easily manage multiple priorities with a positive attitude. I thrive when I am developing creative and innovative insights to complex challenges and working on cutting-edge content to deliver outstanding value.

I have won awards throughout my career (detailed further on) both in journalism and content marketing.
