- Problem Solving Conducted an extensive underground diamond drilling program on the southern side of 04S Decline which led to the re-interpretation of geological data that positively impacted the overall mine design and the business plan by increasing the life of mine by a further 2years. The program also included underground mapping and sampling for quality control and quality assurance. Conducted an extensive underground mapping program at Richard Shaft which led to the re-interpretation of geological data that positively impacted the overall mine design and the business plan by reducing the amount of redevelopment that was initially planned around the initial geological structures. Lead brainstorming sessions with the mining technical team members to implement the adjustments brought about by the drilling program. Communication 11+ years of experience in the mining geology field, with frequent communication between the various departments of mining, inclusive of senior management and subordinates to ensure understanding of the orebody and geological structures across the board. Undertaken presentations to train mining employees on the standards of mine geology. Organization Used Microsoft Excel to organize and track monthly reports for underground workplaces, and underground and surface drilling sites.
