Key Duties and Responsibilities

Administration & Office Support

  • Answer switchboard, direct calls, and welcome visitors in a professional manner.
  • Draft correspondence, manage diaries, schedule meetings, and maintain efficient filing systems.
  • Perform data capturing, process invoices and credit notes in Pastel Accounting, and maintain accurate financial records.

  • Coordinate order collections and ensure that all goods leave the premises accurately and on time.
  • Manage daily invoicing and ensure accurate transaction processing in line with company KPIs.
  • Monitor finished goods and stock levels, escalating risks to management where necessary.
  • Provide timely feedback to customers regarding orders, queries, and concerns, maintaining a high standard of service.
  • Coordinate and confirm deliveries to customers, ensuring timely delivery performance.


Human Resources Management

  • Manage HR duties including contracts, time and attendance, leave, payroll input, and medical certificates.
  • Implement company policies, procedures, and compliance documentation.
  • Support employee relations, assist with disciplinary procedures, and represent the company at CCMA hearings.
  • Conduct candidate interviews and manage the full recruitment process, including preparation and administration of onboarding documentation


Quality Control & Production Support

  • In charge of quality control processes for a contact adhesive manufacturing company, ensuring compliance with industry and customer requirements.
  • Coordinating with production for correct branding and packaging.
  • Provide operational support by running the factory, ensuring continuity of workflow and supervision of staff in the absence of production manager.
