Planned mass circumcision drive for approximately 600 patients
Supervising recovery room and implementing safety measures
CENTRAL STERILIZATION DEPARTMENT
Planning monthly rosters and annual leave
Ensuring steps of decontamination and sterilization
Maintaining and keeping of sterility records of autoclaves
Supervising, caring, packaging and repair of broken instruments
Ordering and replacement of instruments
ICU & FEMALE MEDICAL & SURGICAL WARDS
Implementing of protocols and guidelines for patient care
Enforcing and overseeing cleanliness and hygiene of the departments
Planning informal teaching and bedside training for nurses
Assist supervisors with controlling of ward stock and ordering of ward medication
Planning of individual and specific patient care of supervisors and nurses. Patients include Cardiac patients, CVA’s Patients with unknown coma, burns, head injuries, severe eclamptic patients, diabetics and post-operative patients
