I have been actively involved in horse riding for nearly three decades, fostering a lifelong passion for these magnificent animals. As a competitive show jumper, I have honed my skills and dedication to the equestrian world. Additionally, I am a proud mother of two children. The EARTH CENTER holds a special place for me as it seamlessly combines my two greatest loves—horses and children. Volunteering my time and sharing my knowledge with the EARTH CENTER allows me to give back to these cherished aspects of my life.
I have dedicated my time to volunteering, completed requisite teaching hours, engaged in observation and study, and attained essential coaching qualifications. I am actively involved in teaching, mentoring candidate instructors, and validating their log books. I have consistently offered support to students and volunteers, fostering positive relationships with all on-site staff. Additionally, I have contributed my assistance during the annual Market Day.
Accumulated valuable experience working under the guidance of qualified SARDA coaches such as Karen Bands, Brea Berg, and Sharon Boyce. Completed volunteer hours dedicated to teaching and coaching underprivileged children from Diepsloot. Additionally, organized successful fundraising initiatives, including assembling a team for the 94.7 Cycle Challenge and hosting a camp-out on the grounds for fundraising purposes. Actively contributed to the annual Special Olympics held at Shumbashaba.
