I am a result orientated individual who will take proactive measures to reach my goal. I enjoy working cooperatively with others as I believe other people’s viewpoints can show you an entirely different way of thinking and help you reach an optimal solution quickly.
My aim in life is to help further others while learning from them as well, I believe that within failure there is always a lesson to be learnt or taught, and in my opinion this is where we learn the biggest life lessons. I work hard to achieve my goals and will stop at nothing in order to achieve what has been set out for me to achieve , I enjoy challenges and persevering through these challenges no matter how hard they may be as this is what makes you the person you are.
I have always had a passion for cooking so I thought why not turn it into a small yet profitable business and that’s where I came up with the idea to sell my chilli sauces, the company has been running for a year and has seen some really great success in its short life span, it is something I do on weekends to pass time and meet new people.
I realized very quickly that I needed to do something in order to combat the loss of income due to the pandemic so I decided to start my own wood sales company where we sell braai and fire wood to the greater Gauteng areas.
This company operates in the logistics section, I was tasked to procure new clients for the company and managed to land three high profile clients in a short span of time, unfortunately this left me with very little to do, I searched for other work within the company so that I could learn all there is to learn. I was eventually tasked with doing costings for clients, dealing directly with clients and over seeing the loading of trucks.
I worked at Loreto School, Queens wood as a Cricket coach , we were hired by a company that was tasked to help improve the standards of cricket at the school. As a whole we managed to greatly improve the cricket at the school, but the real victory here was being able to help the less privileged individuals have fun and possibly see a future in the sport. We were also tasked to head the soccer here but unfortunately due to the global pandemic we could not continue.
Phyzz ED is a coaching company that coaches a variety of age groups from 2 years old up to 18 year olds. I worked with children of various ages from 2 year olds - 13 year olds. The company operates as an extra mural activity for the younger children where we would teach basic sport techniques to enhance hand eye coordination and teach them some ball skills. This is the company who was tasked to help improve cricket at Loreto Primary School.
This company also gave me the opportunity to work with children who have certain mental deficiencies and has really pushed me further into the direction of wanting to help others out.
At this stage I was in my final year of my first degree, so I decided to go back to coaching as this is what I really missed and I knew it would allow me the time I needed to pass my final exams. I coached a variety of sport at St Paulus Primary including cricket, tennis, soccer, hockey, and athletics. This job gave me a great opportunity to work with children of all ages and see how these different age groups interact with one another , how they perceive many world views and this taught me many lessons I would have never learnt if it was not for coaching here.
I had never worked with any forms of electrics but working with my hands is something that I have always enjoyed doing, so when the opportunity came up to work for my father I took it with both hands. I worked as an electrical apprentice for a year where I developed new skills and added some valuable life lessons to my armoury.
This was my first ever coaching job where I was appointed as a cricket coach and I believe this is where I found my true passion for helping others, working with the kids was an absolute pleasure as I would see the pure joy in their faces as they ran around aiming to improve on their skills.
I took a gap year at the end of matric , I was not too sure of what I wanted to pursue as a career so I decided to take a break and see what the world had to offer. I ended up going to Israel where I stayed at a Kibutz working on a date farm, we would work on the farm collecting the fruits and then head back to the factory to package all the fruit and get it ready to send throughout the world.
After the closing of beast unleashed supplements where i worked as a salesman I decided to continue on the journey of supplements sales because I saw a great potential in the market. I would import supplements and sell them to the various gym owners as well as private sales, this continued for two years before I decided to call it a day and focus on my Matric finals.
I was approached by a new start-up company who specialized in gym supplements. I worked as a salesman for a year before the company was forced to close their doors.
During that time I managed to build a large customer base and was one of the top salesman.
