- Co-ordinate and monitor mining operations to ensure adherence to production parameters and standards according to the production hourly and daily targets or call.

- Responsible for operating the Citect SCADA and PLC systems and report on all observations during production time.
- Responsible for SCADA controlling and operating the interlocking system on all process equipment (i.e. belts, crushers, feeders, pumps, fans and winders.).
- Responsible for implementing and controlling the Mining process automated equipment lockout registry system on the SCADA.
- Capturing breakdowns on an applicable software program is done.
- Ensure that all Mining reporting is aligned with standards, guidelines and schedules.
- Gather delay information to compile process reports according to department procedures or requirements.
- Ensure that breakdowns are identified and repairs organized.
- Monitor the duration of breakdowns and report to relevant stakeholders
- Communicate any HSEQ incidents that happened underground and Surface and/or area of responsibility.
