Ensure compliance to Harmony Standards and procedures.

Use systems such as , dMS , Pivot ,ESOM. Safety Meetings

Manage Budgets : Working , Majors and Capital

Manage Projects

Manage Labour

Active involved in Planning meetings

Ensure that all Engineering requirements from the mining are cater for.

Conducting effective Peril Meetings. Ensure feedback from Safety Rep and RBE Meetings are discussed at Relevant Forums.

Testing & developing safety devices such as Winch signaling system , Tip covers .

Work as Project Engineer at Kusasalethu Gold Plant - Re building Elution plant .

Completed the Anglogold Jnr engineer training program. Wrote GCC Plant and Law successfully.

Act as Engineer at :

Great Noligwa Gold plant

South Uranium Plant

Moab VT section

Great Noligwa VT section

Moab Production section

In all the above I carried full legal responsibility

Standards Department – manage application to test , add, delete stock items. Standard stock drawings , Material Safety Data Sheet , Risk assessments, Technical Data Sheets.

Lead ISO 9000 Audits, helps with the implementation of QA systems.

I was seconded to Anglogold Head Office to form part of the "Project Eagle" team.

I provided technical information for the Project work group.

Our objective was :

Supply Chain optimisation – Determine and map current processes – Evaluate recommend/Implement improvement strategies. Use current proposals from Project Eagle to align strategies

Main Responsibilities:

Ensured that the equipment the mine sent out for repairs or bought was repaired or supplied according to Company Standards.

Vendor Audits were also conducted.

Investigated Quality and Warranty claims.

Lead ISO 9000 Audits.

Assisted in implementation of QA systems.

Run projects in cost savings exercises.

Liaise with customers to improve the reliability of Production equipment.

Witnessed mechanical testes on safety critical equipment according to specifications.

NDT conducted critical machinery such as compressor turbine blades, winder brake components , gears, rope attachments , steel sections used in the manufacturing of critical equipment.(Magnetic Particle Inspection, Ultrasonic Testing, Dye Penetrant testing).
