- In the year 1999 I trained as a Security Guard under Call Guard Security
- I became a Security in Jet Park, which is where my passion for Security began: Call Guard Security placed me in the following Private Companies, to work as a Security Guard: Basil Read, Tamrock and Colgate; all these companies were based in Elandsfontein near Germiston
- My job description was to fill the Daily Occurrence Book through patrol; Registration of cars that were entering and exiting and searching those cars
- Through the “Employees Control Book” I recorded the in’s and out’s of employees, recorded information such as their Names, Surname, I.D numbers and the time when they entered or exited the premises
- I also administrated the leaving of guns in the Guard room before entering the premises
- I would also answer telephones during weekends, and record messages in my pocketbook to be forwarded to the relevant people
- I reported to Head Office if there was any major occurrence which needed the attention of the Security Company to be resolved
- I continued my Security work at Bell Company next to Kempton Park, and also worked at Geisers Company
- I upgraded my Security Certificate to Grade B and then to Grade A

- In 2001 I was employed by Grace Bible Church in Ga-rankuwa, as a Caretaker based on my Security experience, and also hired as a Driver and as a Messenger
- Over time I was promoted to a Finance Clerk & a Petty cash Custodian
- My job description was included Filing, preparation of Cheque requisition for the payments of all the expenses which were paid on a monthly basis, e.g., Water and Electricity, Rates and Taxes, Telephones, Tithe envelopes, Maintenance etc
- I would also deal with any abnormal accounts by calling or visiting that particular company, until the matter was resolved
- I was promoted as a Supervisor for four Cleaners, three males and one female
- Any conflict which was taking place between them, I would sit down with them, I would give each person a chance to explain his or her side of the story, at the end the conflict would end in love and peace
- In 2007 I registered a Company, being driven by a passion for Security
- IN 2010 I resigned from Grace Bible Church, to run my Company
- I got a verbal Security Contract from Sive Atchaar in Rosslyn, where I employed four Security Guards which were registered with UIF for Law Compliance
- The verbal contract took about 6 Months
- I ran the company from 2010 to 2011, due to it not being successful, I stopped it., I was appointed as a Project Manager
- I am responsible for the site and building maintenance, (I need to enquire for three quotations from suppliers if there is an execution of services that is needed for building or for site maintenance)

- I was asked by Grace Bible Church to come for a Finance Clerk Interview, I started to work on the 3rd of December 2012 to date
- I was working under a professional Accountant at first, who resigned in 2013
- I then took over from her work, I provided Financial Statements, did filing, worked as an Office Administrator, as a Councillor for church members, problem solver for all staff members, prepared books for Auditors, all the Financial Statements from 2012 to 2015 were declared by Auditors to be 100% correct
- I am currently waiting for the Auditors call, for me to submit the 2016 to 2020 Financial Statements
- I was assigned to be the Head Leader to receive the offerings into the Safety Box and was also assigned as the Senior Leader in Counting and of banking money
- I am also responsible in making sure that all five speed-points that we are using are working well, if not I am responsible to call Customer Care to arrange for their fixing and maintenance
- For two years a Finance Intern was brought to my office, I taught her almost all the things I work on
- Under administrative job challenges, we a had electricity and water challenges
- The Church and the Office could not function well during Power failure in the country
- We had an option of using generators which were having less volts to enable good functionality of our sound and lights
- I telephonically checked with several big churches in several provinces asking them how they were functioning, they all advised that the big generator with the right volts would be the problem solver for us
- I then contacted several Electricians to determine the relevant generator volts that would be needed for our Church to be able to function well
- They were given, I then relayed the idea to the Senior Pastors of the church
- They accepted the idea, since 2014 we have never had any electrical challenges
- I also came with an idea that the church should change to prepaid electricity as we were paying a lot of abnormal amounts for electricity, the process took almost 6 months, but the prepaid was finally installed, which saves up to 30% from the amount that we were paying
- I was still not satisfied about the decreased amount, so I checked with several Electricians told us that almost all the globes that we were using were of high voltage, they should be changed to a lower one
- I communicated with my leaders, they were changed, we are currently saving up to 75%
- We were paying a minimum of R6,000 before but to date we are paying a thousand rand per month, in this lockdown season
- We no longer have any electrical challenges
- The water challenge was solved by getting advice from professional Plumbers, I communicated the advice to the Senior Pastors, and it was also taken into consideration
- Jojo tanks and machinery pipes were installed, and since 2017 to date we have never had any water challenges
