- 13 years’ work experience in Chemical Plant, Production Department.
- My duty is to ensure safe working conditions, and adherence to all quality, safety & legal requirements.
- It is my duty to develop my subordinates by coaching, mentoring and ensure continuous improvement of Shift members.
- It is also my duty to co-ordinate Production and Maintenance activities and mediate with Control-room and Clients. (Optimise Value Chain)
- My other duty is to ensure profitable performance of Chemical Plant. I commission / De-commission the Plant for maintenance. I also issue Work Permits.
- I have experience (13years- DCS training and plant) in operating Absorption (Benfield Plant), Adsorption (Hydrogen-PSA and Nitrogen-TSA Purification Plants), Desorption unit, CO-shift plant, CO2 scrubbing plant, Cooling tower, Harbour process and Water Treatment processes. I also operate Steam Turbines, Multistage Centrifugal Compressors, Centrifugal Pumps, Reactors, Boilers, and the Heat Exchangers.
- Current daily duty: Continuous monitoring of plant status (hourly), Review daily analysis, coach junior outside operators, Optimize plant (including alarm management system), Customer communications, Update communications book, completes shift log, Update regen book, Issuing of permits, Review & interpret readings, safe making, critical Equipment specific inspections, Offloading of chemicals, Gas testing, Start-up & Shutdown manual operations, critical tasks-theory & Practical, cosmetic inspections, sample taking, shift hand over, readings and Housekeeping.
