SAMRA ran a competition for full-time students at accredited higher education institutions in Southern Africa, for the best idea for research that could lead to the ultimate make-things-better hack! Four students were selected from more than 60 submissions, to present their ideas at conference, and to compete for the ultimate prize: the first-ever SAMRA Student Award.
